What kind of caulk is best for kitchen cabinets?

We use a variety of types of cabinet sealant depending on the project. For interior projects, we prefer to use an acrylic latex putty with added silicone. This type of sealant is very flexible and offers superior adhesion, making it ideal for filling gaps around moldings or plinths. Putty in bathrooms and kitchens is often visible, so it's important to choose a product that is easy to apply in an orderly manner.

It must also be waterproof and resistant to mold and mildew. Choose a product labeled with those characteristics. Acrylic latex putties for kitchen and bathroom are the easiest to use, but hybrid ones generally have a longer lifespan.
